"ARTEBIRRA PASTURANA 2007" - 5th edition

Sportsground of Pasturana (Alessandria) 4 kilometers west from Novi Ligure

Why:
"ARTEBIRRA PASTURANA 2007" would like to support the culture of unfiltered and unpastorised beer, with no chemicals additives. This idea derives from the cultural association "UNIONBIRRAI" (which collects beer lovers, craft brewers and homebrewers), from Club Confraternita della GRANDE SCHIUMA and PROLOCO Pasturana. We would like to show to the audience that there is a living and complex beer world, still unknown by the majority of the Italian people. In countries like Belgium, the Uk ot the Usa the "reinassance" of craft beer has lead to a strong beer culture: as a consequence, this has elevated beer to a top class drink.

At "ARTEBIRRA PASTURANA 2007" there will be lots of events (complete programme):

- 30 (thirty!) and more craft beers on drought, by best italian microbreweries;
- beer tasting laboratories in which some craft italian beers will be presented together with new and not yet commercialized brews.
- meeting point for the several lovers of homebrewing, strong part of the new beer culture in Italy.
- at the UNIONBIRRAI / Grande Schiuma stand, informative brochures on craft beer will be given out, but also information about how to subscribe Unionbirrai and about its activities.
